About Liz

Hi, I’m Liz—founder of Tails Up Pet Club and lifelong animal lover.

I was raised in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood and started volunteering with PAWS Chicago as a teenager. I’ve run marathons to raise money for the city’s homeless cats and dogs—experiences that sparked my passion for animal care and community advocacy.

In 2016, I launched Tails Up to create a pet care service rooted in trust, compassion, and genuine connection with both pets and their humans.

Fun Facts: When I’m not caring for pets or running the business, you’ll often find me playing the violin—something I’ve loved doing for over 20 years.
